Surajit Mishra, who currently serves as the Director in-charge of the Burnpur and Durgapur Steel Plants, is in the race for the position of Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). The post is set to fall vacant on April 3, 2026.
