Telangana Announces Major IAS Reshuffle, Assigns Key Administrative Roles
Telangana government reshuffles IAS officers, assigning new roles across departments and districts to strengthen governance and administrative efficiency.
In a sweeping administrative overhaul, the Telangana government has reassigned several IAS officers to new roles across departments. Sanjay Kumar has been appointed as Special Officer at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi, while M. Dana Kishore takes charge as Special Chief Secretary of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, alongside additional responsibilities linked to the Governor’s office. Harichandana Dasari will now head the Labour, Employment, Training, and Factories Department, and Priyanka Ala assumes charge as Hyderabad Collector. Krishna Aditya S has been posted as Special Secretary in Industries and Commerce. Other notable appointments include Abhilasha Abhinav as Director of Intermediate Education, Anudeep Durishetty in IT and Communications, and P Pravinya in Roads and Buildings. Several district-level changes have also been made, including new Collectors for Sangareddy, Khammam, Nirmal, Mulugu, Narayanpet, and Nagarkurnool. The reshuffle reflects the state’s effort to streamline governance and improve administrative efficiency.
