18 IAS Officers Across Cadres Set to Retire in April 2026
18 IAS officers from multiple cadres, including AGMUT, Gujarat, and Tamil Nadu, are set to retire in April 2026, marking key administrative transitions.
A total of 18 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from various cadres and batches are scheduled to retire in April 2026, marking the conclusion of their distinguished careers in public administration. The retiring officers include Rajendra Kumar Sharma (AGMUT cadre), B H Talati (Gujarat), Manohar Marandi and Sunil Kumar II (Jharkhand), R Gopakumar (Kerala), and Sanjay Kumar (Madhya Pradesh). From Maharashtra, Deepak Kapoor and Seema Vyas are among those superannuating, while Vimal Kumar Setia from Punjab also features on the list. Tamil Nadu sees the retirement of Dr. Sandeep Saxena, Hitesh Kumar S Makwana, T Abraham, and Dr. S Natarajan. Dew Krishna Tiwari from Uttarakhand and four officers from West Bengal—Atri Bhattacharya, Kauishck Saha, Arundhati Sarkar, and Anindya Mitra—complete the list. Their retirement marks a significant transition across administrative frameworks in multiple states.
