Further appointments include Gaurav Singh Sogarwal as DM of Maharajganj, Santosh Kumar Sharma for Firozabad, Rajendra Painsiya for Moradabad, Ankit Khandelwal for Sambhal, and Abhishek Pandey for Pratapgarh, extending the reshuffle across a broader geographic spread including western Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad and Sambhal districts.

District Magistrate postings carry direct administrative authority over revenue administration, law-and-order coordination, and implementation of state and central welfare schemes within a district, making these among the most operationally significant assignments within Uttar Pradesh's IAS cadre structure given the state's scale and the direct public-facing nature of the role.
