UPSC Convenes on May 26 to Finalise Panel for Uttar Pradesh's New DGP

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is scheduled to meet on May 26 to deliberate and finalise a panel of candidates for the post of Director General of Police (DGP) in Uttar Pradesh, which has been functioning without a permanent full-time incumbent. Among the names under active consideration are senior IPS officers Rajiv Krishna and Renuka Mishra. The outcome of the meeting is expected to pave the way for the state police force to finally have a regular chief at its helm.
