Amrit Abhijat, Additional Chief Secretary for Tourism, Culture and Religious Endowments, has been given additional charge of Transport, while Anil Kumar joins as Principal Secretary, Food and Supplies, and Principal Secretary and Commissioner, Consumer Affairs and Food and Supplies, consolidating two closely related consumer-facing departments under a single officer.

V Hekali Jhimomi moves to Principal Secretary, Medical, Health and Family Welfare, and Principal Secretary, Medical Education, consolidating two health-related secretariat charges under a single officer, while Mahendra Prasad Agrawal takes over as Principal Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change, a department that has taken on added significance amid the state's ongoing afforestation and river-rejuvenation programmes.
