Among the names generating the most buzz is Ashok Kumar Prasad, currently serving as Additional Director General (Cyber), who is being seriously considered for the post of Intelligence Chief. A 1998-batch Indian Police Service officer of the West Bengal cadre, Prasad is seen as a strong contender given his expertise in cyber security and law enforcement leadership.
