11 IPS Officers Assigned New Roles in Major Punjab Police Reshuffle
Punjab reshuffles 11 IPS officers including Anita Punj as Special DGP and Satinder Singh as CP Jalandhar in sweeping transfers.
Punjab has carried out a significant reshuffle of its IPS cadre, with eleven officers receiving new postings across the state's policing hierarchy. Anita Punj has been appointed as Special DGP, HRD & Welfare, Chandigarh. Pradeep Kumar Yadav takes charge as IGP Technical Services, while Dhanpreet Kaur joins as Director, MRS PPA, Phillaur. Satinder Singh has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar; Vivek Sheel Soni as DIG Border Range, Amritsar; Surinderjit Singh as DIG Prisons; Kanwaldeep Singh as DIG Law & Order, Chandigarh; Sandeep Kumar Sharma as DIG, PAP-II, Jalandhar; Sandeep Goel as DIG Ludhiana Range; Suhail Qasim Mir as AIG Personnel-I, Chandigarh; and Pragya Jain as AIG Law & Order, Chandigarh. The wide-ranging transfers are aimed at strengthening law enforcement and administrative efficiency across Punjab.
