Anand Kumar Set to Take Charge as ADG Intelligence in West Bengal
1998-batch IPS officer Anand Kumar is likely to be appointed ADG Intelligence in West Bengal, strengthening the state's security apparatus.
West Bengal's intelligence apparatus could soon see a new face at the helm. Anand Kumar, a 1998-batch IPS officer of the West Bengal cadre, is learnt to be in line for appointment as Additional Director General (Intelligence) in the state. If confirmed, the posting would place him at the forefront of the state's internal security and intelligence machinery.
