Aslam Khan Shifted from Delhi to Arunachal Pradesh Segment of AGMUT Cadre

IPS officer Aslam Khan has been transferred from Delhi to the Arunachal Pradesh segment of the joint AGMUT cadre. A 2007 batch officer, Khan's reassignment is part of routine cadre reallocation within the AGMUT framework, which manages postings across Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and the Union Territories of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry. The transfer to Arunachal Pradesh places Khan in a state with distinct security considerations, including border management with China, tribal law and order, and forest and land-related crimes. Her experience in Delhi, one of the busiest police jurisdictions in the country, brings operational breadth to a posting that demands both administrative and field-level engagement. The AGMUT cadre is one of the more complex IPS cadre structures given its multi-state and multi-UT composition, and officers frequently rotate between its constituent territories over the course of their careers.
