Delhi Administration Reorganises DANICS Officers Across Multiple Key Posts
Delhi reshuffles DANICS officers across CMO, Revenue, Education, Prisons, and Urban Development in an extensive administrative reorganisation.
The Delhi government has carried out a broad reshuffle of officers belonging to the Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Service (DANICS), redistributing roles across various departments. Prashant Kumar has been appointed as Additional Secretary, PGC, Chief Minister's Office, with additional charge as Director, Department of Information and Publicity (DIP), while Puneet Kumar Patel moves into the role of Additional District Magistrate, Central, Revenue Department. Ankit Kumar Agarwal is set to take charge as Secretary to the Home Minister. Among other reassignments, Atul Pandey has been shifted as Secretary to the PWD Minister, and Kamlesh Kumar as Joint Secretary to the Lt. Governor. Sanjay Sondhi takes over as Joint Director, Education; Mohan Kumar as Joint Commissioner, Development; and both Asheesh Kumar and Aditya Kumar Asthana as Assistant Commissioner, Food and Supplies. Anuj Kumar Bharti has been appointed Superintendent, Prisons, and Vijay Singh Malik has been designated as Deputy Secretary, Urban Development.
