Delhi Government Carries Out Wide-Ranging Reshuffle of IAS Officers; Over 15 Get New Assignments

The Delhi government has announced a sweeping reshuffle of Indian Administrative Service officers, with more than fifteen officials being assigned fresh or additional responsibilities across key departments. Bipul Pathak (IAS 1992 batch) has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Women and Child Development, alongside his existing role as ACS, Social Welfare. Navin Kumar Chaudhary has been assigned additional charge of ACS, General Administration Department (GAD), in addition to his current role as ACS, Irrigation and Flood Control. Pandurang K. Pole has been appointed as Secretary, Land and Building, and has additionally been given charge of Secretary-cum-Commissioner, Labour, and Secretary, Cooperation. Jitendra Yadav, currently Managing Director of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Information Technology. Sandeep Kumar Singh now holds additional charges as Special Secretary, Finance, alongside his existing role as Special Secretary, Chief Minister's Office. Sachin Rana will handle additional charges of Special Secretary and Principal Director, Delhi Financial Services, along with his current post as Special Secretary, Home. D Verma has been relieved of additional responsibility as Special Secretary, Planning and Executive Director, Delhi Finance Corporation. Pankaj Kumar has been relieved of his additional charge as Deputy Commissioner, Headquarters. G Sudhakar has also been given charge of Member Secretary, Delhi Commission for Women. Suneel Anchipaka will additionally hold charge of Special Secretary, Tourism. Santosh Kumar Rai has been posted as Special CEO, Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), with additional charge as Special Secretary, Home. Further appointments include: M C Prasad as Special Secretary, Health; K K Lakshman as Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, South West, with additional charge of Director, Panchayat; Sanjeev Kumar as Special Commissioner, Trade and Taxes; Yash Chaudhary given additional charge of Consumer Protection Authority (CPA); Patil Pranjal Lahensingh shifted as Special Director, Women and Child Development; and Amol Srivastava posted as Special Commissioner, Transport.
