Madhya Pradesh Transfers Eight 2022-Batch IPS Officers in Mid-Year Reshuffle

The Madhya Pradesh government has issued transfer orders for eight officers from the 2022 Indian Police Service batch, repositioning them from sub-divisional postings to broader urban and administrative law enforcement roles across the state. The Department of Home Affairs sanctioned the directive as part of a structured mid-year rotation designed to deepen field exposure and strengthen public safety frameworks in key industrial and metropolitan zones. Among the notable movements, Anu Beniwal, who was serving as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Gwalior, has been transferred to the same rank in Jabalpur. Om Prakash, previously Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) at Lanji in Balaghat, moves to Indore as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) for Zone-3. Karandeep, who held the SDOP charge at Baihar in Balaghat, has been elevated to Additional SP in Ujjain. Ayush Jakhar transitions from SDOP in Karera, Shivpuri, to serve as ASP in Jabalpur alongside Beniwal. Gaurav Pandey, relieved of his SDOP duties in Singrauli, takes charge as ASP in Satna. Mini Shukla, shifting from her SDOP role in Narsingarh, Rajgarh, joins the Bhopal commissionerate as ACP for Zone-2 in the state capital. Raj Krishna moves from SDOP of Morena to ASP in the military and industrial township of Mhow, while Sujawal Jagga transitions from City Superintendent of Police in Dhar to fill the ASP vacancy in Gwalior left by Beniwal's departure. Bureaucratic analysts observe that such rotations are essential to equip the 2022 batch with the diverse operational experience required for upcoming district-level command responsibilities. The transfers collectively reflect the state government's intent to align officer deployment with the demands of urban policing and regional administration across Madhya Pradesh's expanding civic landscape.
