Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle in Tamil Nadu: Five IAS Officers Reassigned

The Tamil Nadu state government has executed a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to new roles. Dr. Darez Ahamed steps in as the new Secretary for Health and Family Welfare. Anu George has been tasked with leading the Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries, and Fishermen Welfare department as its Secretary, while Mariam Pallavi Baldev assumes the role of Secretary for Social Welfare and Women Empowerment. Furthermore, T Udhayachandran has been named the Additional Chief Secretary/Chairman and Managing Director (ACS/CMD) of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Ltd., and Kumar Jayant takes over as ACS/CMD for Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd.
