Massive Administrative Shake-up in J&K 20 IAS Officers shifted
A major administrative reshuffle in Jammu & Kashmir has reassigned 20 IAS officers to various key roles, including multiple Financial Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner positions.
A significant administrative reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir has resulted in new postings for 20 IAS officers. Key appointments include Ashwani Kumar as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) of the Power Development Department with additional charge of the Mining Department, and Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma taking additional duties in the Agriculture Production Department alongside his role as Financial Commissioner (ACS) of the Tourism Department. Other notable shifts involve Shailendra Kumar heading to the Finance Department as Financial Commissioner (ACS), M Raju taking on additional responsibilities in Health and Medical Education, and Ms. R Alice Vaz stepping in as Commissioner/Secretary for Planning, Development and Monitoring. The shake-up also includes postings for Ms. Yasha Mudgal (Cooperatives) and Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary (Youth Services and Sports), while Dr. Piyush Singla takes additional charge of the Public Grievances Department. Several officers were appointed as Deputy Commissioners, including Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan (Budgam) and Kumar Abhishek (Reasi), Dr. Bilal Mohiud Din Bhat (Anantnag) and Minga Sherpa (Udhampur), Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid (Baramulla), and Shahzad Alam (Kulgam). Furthermore, Anjali Sehrawat is the new Mission Director of the Jal Jeevan Mission, Nidhi Malik is the Inspector General of Registration, Owais Ahmed is Director of Skill Development, Dr. Sagar D Dattatray is Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs in Kashmir, Akriti Sagar is MD of the National Health Mission, and Harvinder Singh takes over as Director of Employment.
