P M Saravanan, currently serving as Postmaster General, South Karnataka Region, Bengaluru, has been placed at the disposal of the Department of Defence Production for appointment as Chief Vigilance Officer of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bengaluru. The deputation is for a period of three years under the Central Staffing Scheme. Saravanan is a 2000-batch officer of the Indian Postal Service (IPoS).
