Satyabrata Mukherjee Chosen to Lead Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited as New CMD
Satyabrata Mukherjee, currently Director of Operations at AVNL, has been selected by the PESB to become the new Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the organization.
Following a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting on March 16, 2026, Satyabrata Mukherjee has been chosen to serve as the new Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL). Prior to this selection, Mukherjee held the position of Director (Operations) within the same organization. Reports indicate that only two candidates were interviewed for this top leadership role.
