Four Senior Accounts Officers Shifted in Central Government Reshuffle

Four Senior Accounts Officers have been shifted in a round of transfers affecting Central government accounts postings. Ravi Shankar Jha has been moved from the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) office in Vapi to the CBIC office in Jamnagar, while Shalabh Kumar Jain has been transferred to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (H&UA) in Chandigarh. Dhiraj Negi, who had earlier been shifted to H&UA, Chandigarh, has instead been retained at the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) office in Dehradun. Ritu Adhikari has been posted to the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) office in Dehradun. Senior Accounts Officer transfers of this kind are routine administrative movements within the Central accounts cadre, typically carried out to fill vacancies across field offices of the tax boards and financial management systems. The transfers take immediate effect, according to the order.
