Odisha Administration Overhaul: 21 IAS Officers Reshuffled

The Odisha government has executed a major administrative reshuffle involving 21 IAS officers. Key appointments include Deoranjan Kumar Singh taking additional charge of the Steel and Mines Department, while Surendra Kumar moves to General Administration & Public Grievance. Bishnupada Sethi has been named Chairman of the Odisha Forest Development Corporation, and Dr. Arabinda Padhee takes over as ACS, Revenue & Disaster Management. Other significant changes see Girish S N appointed as Chairman of Odisha Mining Corporation, Dr. Mrinalini Darswal as Secretary of Women & Child Development, and Rajesh Prabhakar Patil taking additional charge as Special Relief Commissioner. The reshuffle also affects departments such as Tourism, Agriculture, and Mission Shakti, with officers like Balwant Singh, Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav, and Ms. Mansi Nimbhal receiving new mandates.
