Satyan Kumar has been appointed as Director (Strategy and Corporate Affairs) at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), following a rigorous selection process. He was chosen from a shortlist of 12 candidates who were interviewed by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel during its 13th selection meeting. Kumar's appointment to one of ONGC's key board-level positions is expected to strengthen the company's strategic planning and corporate governance frameworks at a time of evolving energy sector dynamics.
