IRS officer Manisha Saxena joins as Joint Secretary, Department of Health Research, on deputation from ICMR in a key administrative reshuffle.
Manisha Saxena, a 2000-batch IRS (Customs & Central Excise) officer, has taken charge as Joint Secretary in the Department of Health Research (DHR) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Prior to this posting, Saxena was serving as Senior Deputy Director General at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), where she handled administrative responsibilities. The move represents an upgradation-cum-deputation from ICMR to DHR, strengthening the department's administrative leadership.
