UP Transfers 2 IAS Officers Saumya Pandey Appointed Bareilly Development Authority Vice Chairman
Uttar Pradesh has transferred two IAS officers, appointing Saumya Pandey as Vice Chairman of the Bareilly Development Authority and placing Manikandan A on the awaiting posting list.
Lucknow, June 13, 2026: The Uttar Pradesh government transferred two IAS officers on Friday, assigning Saumya Pandey as Vice Chairman of the Bareilly Development Authority (BDA) and relieving Manikandan A from the post.
Manikandan A (2017 batch), who held both the BDA Vice Chairman role and the concurrent charge of Divisional Food Controller, Bareilly, has been placed on the awaiting posting list. His next assignment is pending.
Saumya Pandey takes charge of the BDA, which oversees urban planning, land use, and infrastructure projects across the Bareilly region. The authority has several ongoing road-widening and housing projects under its mandate.
UP conducts periodic IAS reshuffles to rotate officers across districts and development bodies. Further transfers are expected before the end of June.
